It is almost impossible to observe Shabbos in every detail. The only practical solution is to study the halachos thoroughly and review them regularly. That way, you will readily know what is permissible and what is not. Without intense and constant study, you might wish with all your heart and soul to observe Shabbos and still not observe it properly. (Mishnah Berurah)
